Odds and Ends

Bild
A new section of the website have been added that I call the Odds and Ends . It's a page dedicated to other DIY projects that I have done over the years - studio gear, one-off pedals and prototypes and much more. I still have alot to add to this page, so I will update it regularly.  For the first time I'm also sharing more info about some of those DIY projects - both gerbers and schematics. :) Check out that page under the resources tab  here I have also added the CMOS workshop back from the old site, that you can find under articles here

Parasit Studio 2024

Bild
After a bit of a haitus, I got back into developing new pedals again with full force in 2024. A total of 9 DIY projects were released. :) As usual, I have been trying to think outside the box to create circuits that are unique and different - Both the Ladder to the Moon and the Liberation Frequency Fuzz has a tracking oscillator that is freely detunable, something I have never seen anyone else do in an analog guitar synth pedal. The Higgs Particle Phaser is a unique shift register based phaser. The Salad Days ring modulator uses a digital pot IC in an unusual way (without a microcontroller) and the Phase Locked Fuzz is a PLL pedal without a CD4046. I'm proud of all these circuits. I also completed the Console 84  development. A pedal that I started working on in 2020. It was released in february of 2025 together with the DIY project  C82 Micro . / Fredrik

New blog and website!

Parasit Studio has moved to a new web domain and web host. The new address is www.parasitstudio.com The old .se address will also be working during a transition period. But they both point to the same web hotel now. This was a much needed change, as my old web host suddenly increased their price by almost 400%... I was also getting constantly spammed by bots on my old site, so much that I had disabled notifications and often missed real comments. The new website is online now, but it's still missing some things that I will add soon (like the stripboard layouts, the CMOS workshop ect). Unfortunately some things will be forever lost, like useful comments/replies, webshop reviews ect. But I hope to make this new website even better over time, and I have plans to add more articles and other useful resources for DIY pedal building. :) In this blog I will add news, progress on projects that are in the works ect. As a start, I will repost some of the more recent old blog post here. / Fred...
